MY REVIEW

The queen of epic cliffhangers - that is what Clara Kensie is all about! My heart...

When you are willing to do anything, even sacrifice your own life, for those you love, you'll do it; Tessa is unintentionally the most bravest and selfless teen you will ever meet. After losing so much, including, almost losing her own life, she will go through hell and back to find her brother and sister. Even with unresolved premonitions lying ahead, predicting the worst outcomes, Tessa knows that the right thing to do is to find them before the wrong people do. Even if that means betraying and risking her relationship with Tristan.
Tristan, trying to be Tessa's savior, has disappointed me a bit through this point of the story. He is so adamant about being the one to save Tess and her siblings. I wish he could see that even though he does have a psychic power, he is still a human boy that needs to understand that he can't do it all and he cannot continue to try to dictate to Tessa what she can and can't do, even if it is for her own good. But again, I understand the need to be there for someone and to do what you think is best for those you love.

Part five is just filled with heart-wrenching-edge-of-your-seat moments. I seriously don't know how I survived through any of it...

I don't know how to emphasize enough that the RUN TO YOU serial-series is a must read now!!!

MY REVIEW

Clara Kensie really knows how to keep the page-turning suspense going!

(My review is spoiler free, but will contain a few hints here and there about where the story is going...)

FOURTH SHADOW, the beginning of part two to the RUN TO YOU series, picks up right where it left off without losing momentum - basically the author pressed pause and now we're allowed to press play and jump right into Tessa's tumultuous life with losing a minute... and hoping for the best...

Tessa has one thing on her mind - finding her brother and sister. And it is not going to be easy since they've been taught how to run and having been doing it for so long. Combine that with their psychic powers, the chances of finding them anytime soon are very, very low. But Tessa is determined to do whatever it takes, even risking her own newfound psychic power to overwhelm her to a possible oblivion, or more, her life.
Tristan is completely overwhelmed with guilt for not being their for Tessa and letting her down with the mistreatment she received from the man that was in charged in capturing her family. And is even more determined to find Tessa's siblings. His love and devotion to Tessa is impossible to measure.
And on top of all of this, Tessa and Tristan must also try to balance life at home and school, which isn't easy when you're linked to the people who hurt or killed most of the students family members.

One of the things that I really enjoyed in this part of the story is getting to know Tristan's family, their psychic powers, and how Tessa is adjusting to living with them - and if you're following the story, you will understand why! There are some major key points to be learned here, and I am so happy with the authors thoroughness with all the details and revelations.

I cannot emphasize enough on how much I am enjoying this serial series! There is no other story that can compare! A must read for those who love realistic contemporary with a paranormal element!

Clara Kensie knows how to write an emotional thrilling romantic mystery! It's a good thing that this is a digital book, I believe I would have ripped pages if it was on paper! I couldn't read fast enough, Tessa's story is so deep and personal. You will not be able to put this down and you will definitely be craving to get to parts 2 and 3 right away...

Tessa's whole life is based on lies. But she has no choice. The lies keep her and her paranormal family safe from the bad man. They must flee every time he gets too close. New names, new home, new school... secrets must be kept and the family rules must be obeyed: never be left alone, do not attract attention, do not leave any traces behind. No one can ever know who she is, or her family's powers.
No one.

And then she meets Tristan.

Can Tessa allow herself to trust someone outside of her family? Can she let herself relax and enjoy a little bit of peace that she has finally found in her chaotic world?

This is definitely a story not to be missed!!!

And the riveting story continues!!!

I don't want to say too much, because I'm afraid I may slip with spoilers - but I promise, this is totally spoiler free!!!...

This time, Clara Kensie brings on the swoon and romance between Tessa and Tristan. 

We get to see Tessa relax and be more of herself around Tristan. She is smart and determined to finally try to let some of the past go and enjoy her life, finally.

But can Tessa really trust Tristan?

And, it seems that Tristan has a few skeletons in his closet too!!!

The suspense is unbelievable!

And unpredictable!

I really didn't see the cliffhanger ending to this one coming at all! It was a really good slap to the face! But it had to happen! And I am so thrilled with the story twisted with all of these surprises and where it ended up! The suspense is killing me!!!

You will definitely not be able to stop here! The third part is needed instantly! Don't wait!!!

Take deep breaths! You really need to prepare yourself for this part!!!
So many revelations! Heartbreak! And unbelievable reality for Tessa!

Poor Tessa! All of her nightmares seem to be coming true...
No one to trust. No where to go.
Her family is broken.
Tristan is a liar... or is he?

Decisions have to be made. And Tessa finally comes into her psychic power. One that must be controlled quickly or bad things can happen.
Can she handle this all alone???

Such a bittersweet ending.
Clara Kensie's writing is out of this world! I couldn't swipe the pages fast enough - I was so frustrated! I wanted to throw my ereader across the room! Such a page turner!!!

Things tie up nicely at the end, and gives us a lead into what the next three parts will be about
- and I cannot wait to read more!!!
