The Epic Giving Thanks Scavenger Hunt!

Hi everyone! It's my turn to give you your next set of words in the 'scavenger hunt'
that Megan of Book Brats is hosting!!!

http://www.book-brats.com/thankful/
Everyone gives thanks for many, many things...
In our home, we try to give thanks every day for what we have been blessed with - but every year, on the fourth Thursday of November, we celebrate Thanksgiving and celebrate the ultimate thank you for everything that has happened to us throughout the whole year. We start our day by watching one of the most famous parades, the Macy's Day Parade while preparing our home with delicious foods (turkey! stuffing! and mashed potatoes!) to share with our extended family.

While we can't celebrate with everyone in person, we wanted to still celebrate with you by thanking you and sharing our united love of books!

We've put together a lineup of some amazing bloggers who are super exicted about books and are ready to share with you why they are so thankful for books.

Nov. 12 - Book Brats
Nov. 13 - Making The Grade
Nov. 14 - Writing My Own Fairytale
Nov. 15 - Book Addicts Guide
Nov. 16 - Bumbles and Fairy-Tales
Nov. 17 - Beauty and the Bookshelf AND JC Emery
Nov. 18 - Dizneeee's World of Books
Nov. 19 - Book Babes AND Gypsy Book Reviews
Nov. 20 - Starting the Next Chapter
Nov. 21 - I Love Books Club
Nov. 22 - WRAP UP!
Nov. 23 - Contest ends, TWITTER PARTY!

Today is day FIVE of our epic event!
And I bet you would like to know how to find the 'code words' on everyone's blogs, right?! Every blog is using some unique way of making it stand out for you, easy-peasy! I think I'll be using something pink-ish ;)
As soon as you find your code, be sure to enter it into the Rafflecopter below to be entered to win some amazing EPIC giveaways!!!

___________________________________________

I am SO very thankful for...
sooo many things! My family and friends and so much more!
But for everyone's benefit, I'll just stick with the book-related ones for today and keep it short and sweet too ;)

- I am so thankful to the book-blogging and book-tuber communities! Without all of your help, encouragement and guidance, I would not be here today!
- I am so thankful to the authors! For putting their hearts and souls into their books and than doing what they have to to get them out into the world! Without your perseverance I would not have worlds to dream about and escape in, an over-active imagination and something to talk about and relate to with other people. You make my world complete :)
- And of course, I can not forget... I am so thankful to the people behind the scenes! The publishers, editors, publicists, agents, etc. Without all of you, so many books would be lost and would never be read. I thank you for all the time you put into supporting, helping and publicizing all of these wonderful authors and their pages.

And a big thank you to all of you, dear readers and commenters!
You make blogging and sharing so much more sweeter :)

Oh! and I am also grateful for book quotes!
I like to keep a "Quote Book" of all my favorites and I keep it open on my desk all the time - there are so many inspiring ones to keep me going... and of course, there are some really good humorous ones to give me the giggle I need too!

Here are a few of my favorite quotes...

"Always."
~ Harry Potter and the Deadly Hollows by J.K. Rowling

"Impossible."
"That is a human word," she said. "And a very ugly one at that."
~ The Spindlers, by Lauren Oliver

"Sometimes I think that maybe we are just stories.
Like we may as well just be words on a page,
because we've only what we've done
and what we are going to do."
~ Tiger Lily, by Jodi Lynn Anderson

"My insides had melted when Noah produced his wicked grin
and gazed at me like I was naked.
Luke used to give me butterflies.
Noah spawned mutant Pterodactyls."
~ Pushing The Limits, by Katie McGarry

"But even if we don't have the power to choose where we came from
we can still choose where we go from here.
We can still do things."
~ The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky

Hope you found your 'code', now, go enter below!
Good luck! and thanks again!!! xo

WIN Wonderlove by Kirsten Hubbard and Blue Sky Days by Marie Landry in the Love In Bloom Giveaway Hop! (INT)

Hi there! This week, Bumbles and Fairy-Tales is joining in on the...
"Love In Bloom" Giveaway Hop!!!

Hosted by Kathy of I Am A Reader, Not A Writer
Summer is almost here, and what better way to start the summer than with a sweet contemporary book... one with discovery and growth in the middle of paradise... the other, a true romantic but a bit weepy, lol! Either way, if it's good, it's good - right?!

Here are the TWO books that you can win:

Wanderlove by Kirsten Hubbard

SUMMARY
(from Goodreads)
It all begins with a stupid question:
Are you a Global Vagabond?

"No, but 18-year-old Bria Sandoval wants to be. In a quest for independence, her neglected art, and no-strings-attached hookups, she signs up for a guided tour of Central America—the wrong one. Middle-aged tourists with fanny packs are hardly the key to self-rediscovery. When Bria meets Rowan, devoted backpacker and dive instructor, and his outspokenly humanitarian sister Starling, she seizes the chance to ditch her group and join them off the beaten path.

Bria's a good girl trying to go bad. Rowan's a bad boy trying to stay good. As they travel across a panorama of Mayan villages, remote Belizean islands, and hostels plagued with jungle beasties, they discover what they've got in common: both seek to leave behind the old versions of themselves. And the secret to escaping the past, Rowan’s found, is to keep moving forward.

But Bria comes to realize she can't run forever, no matter what Rowan says. If she ever wants the courage to fall for someone worthwhile, she has to start looking back.

Kirsten Hubbard lends her artistry to this ultimate backpacker novel, weaving her drawings into the text. Her career as a travel writer and her experiences as a real-life vagabond backpacking Central America are deeply seeded in this inspiring story."

AND!!! in addition Wanderlove you will also receive...
Blue Sky Days by Marie Landry for your Nook or Kindle!

SUMMARY
(from Goodreads)
"A year after graduating from high school, nineteen-year-old Emma Ward feels lost. She has spent most of her life trying to please her frigid, miserable mother - studying hard, getting good grades, avoiding the whole teenage rebellion thing - and now she feels she has no identity beyond that. Because she spent so many years working hard and planning every moment of her life, she doesn't have any friends, has never had a boyfriend, and basically doesn't know who she is or what she really wants from life. Working two part-time jobs to save money for college hasn't helped her make decisions about her future, so she decides it's time for a change. She leaves home to live with her free-spirited, slightly eccentric Aunt Daisy in a small town that makes Emma feel like she's stepped back in time.

When Emma meets Nicholas Shaw, everything changes - he's unlike anyone she's ever met before, the kind of man she didn't even know existed in the 21st century. Carefree and spirited like Daisy, Nicholas teaches Emma to appreciate life, the beauty around her, and to just let go and live. Between Daisy and Nicholas, Emma feels like she belongs somewhere for the first time in her life, and realizes that you don't always need a plan - sometimes life steers you where you're meant to be.

Life is wonderful, an endless string of blue sky days, until Nicholas is diagnosed with cancer, and life changes once again for Emma in ways she never thought possible. Now it's time for her to help Nicholas the way he's helped her. Emma will have to use her new-found strength, and discover along the way if love really is enough to get you through."

Thanks for stopping by and good luck :)

Lunar Love Giveaway Hop

Hi there! and Welcom to the...

... hosted by I Am A Reader, Not A Writer
and Book Worm Lisa.
Thank you so much for hosting the hop, Kathy and Lisa!!!

This hop starts today, the day of a full moon :)
and the hop will be featuring books with supernatural, paranormal, space travel or science fiction or books that have something to do with the moon or books that have a moon on its cover.

So I decided to give away a hardback copy of Bewitching from the Book Depository!
Don't you just love the cover with the moon :)
I haven't read it yet, but I've heard wonderful things about it and it's on my TBR!

From Goodreads:
"Kendra Hilferty, the witch who curses Kyle Kingsbury in Beastly, tells about her immortal existence-how she discovered she was a witch and the various ways she has used her powers to help people throughout the centuries. (Unfortunately her attempts have often backfired.) As it turns out, Kendra has actually had a hand in "Hansel and Gretel," "The Princess and the Pea," and "The Little Mermaid"-but these are not the fairy tales you think you know! Kendra's reminiscences are wrapped around a real-time version of "Cinderella," except the "ugly" stepsister is the good guy. With dark twists, hilarious turns, and unexpected endings, Bewitching is a contemporary read for fairy-tale lovers, fantasy fans, and anyone looking for more Alex Flinn."

Hop officially begins March 8th at 12:01am EST,
and ends on March 14th at 12:01am EST.

Good luck!!!
