MY REVIEW

Escucha Means Listen is an adorable children's picture book that is in English and Spanish. And whether your native language is English/Spanish, this is a wonderful fun book to introduce another language to your child.
The book emphasizes on listening carefully to the things we hear outside. It is a great way to get your child to pay attention to the world around them - learn to really listen, especially to the words that are being read to them; and they will easily be able to picture the sounds and figure out what it is that you are listening to. The book can easily be turned into an interactive game.
And even as an eBook, the pages are beautifully illustrated with vibrant colors and common outside scenes that every child will love to explore and imagine.
This is definitely one of those books to have on your eReader whilst traveling with a little one to easily distract a little one during a difficult time.
I highly recommend this sweet book for children 6 years old and younger.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR - Talia Aikens-Nunez

Talia Aikens-Nuñez wanted to be a meteorologist, a politician and a lawyer. She never thought she would be a writer. It was the birth of her daughter that caused her to start writing. Raising a bilingual child inspired Talia to write lyrical children’s books. These ‘first experience’ books introduce Spanish to children and parents too! Talia’s family loves nature so much that she and her husband vowed that they will always try to live close to water. She, her husband and daughter live on a river in Connecticut with their daughter Isabella.

  1. OMG I would love this. I'm trying to teach my daughter Spanish too. Even though she's still a bit young for this one I would love to have it on her shelf for the future.
