Hello bookish friends!
I hope you are all doing very well and are enjoying some tasty holiday treats along with good books...
CHRISTMAS IS ALMOST HERE :)
I am not ready!!!
There is so much to do! And I haven't started wrapping...
I've also run out of steam... I'm in a reading slump. It's not the book(s) I'm reading, it's me. I am just too tired, stressed and distracted to concentrate right now. As much as I love the holidays, I am really looking forward to the day after Christmas - that is when everything comes to a full stop and from then on, until the kidlets go back to school, we are on hiatus and I can go melt into my couch with a good book and/or movie! Can't wait :)
The most amazing books came in the mail this week!!!
*skips around merrily*

I was told to read The Scorpio Races next (after The Raven Cycle), because apparently, it's all kinds of awesome. Needless to say, I've got that book on the horizon.
ReplyDeleteReading slumps are so not good for people who has weekly massive book hauls. I can relate. Sigh.
Enjoy! I really want to read Seeker! Nice haul! My STS

Great haul! I've had The Scorpio Races on my shelves for so long yet I've still not read it. I really love Maggie Stiefvater's Wolves of Mercy Falls series though, so I should really pick it up soon! I hope you enjoy all of your books.

I totally get you .... I'm so tired, too! I'm not really stressed about the holidays, but I've been finishing up some crochet projects as gifts and my eyes are tired and I'm just eager to relax ... when I sit down with my book my eyes close after about three pages. Lol ... Merry Christmas to you guys!! :)
ReplyDeleteThe Scorpio Races is so good! Hope you enjoy!
