"Feature and Follow" is a weekly meme hosted by the wonderful and sweet girls of Parajunkee's View and Alison Can Read!!!
Please stop by their blogs to say HI and get all the deets from them too!!!
This week's questions is...
Q: What would your prefer: reading your favorite book over and over again until you got sick of it OR reading 100s of mediocre books? And why?
Hmmm, this is a tough question, because my favorite books kind of change as I keep finding new ones, lol! and I do re-read them a whole lot, until I find another favorite, and then I re-read that one a whole lot and then either go back to my original re-read to re-read or find a new one... it's an endless cycle, lol!
SO, it's settled, I will re-read my books until the end of time!
I don't have time for mediocre (said with a scrunchy face and snotty attitude) books!
Some of my old favorite re-reads are...
- Harry Potter Series
- Twilight (the first book only)
- The Christmas Box and The Promise by Richard Paul Evans
- The Notebook by Nicholas Sparkls
- The Old Man and the Sea by Ernest Hemmingway
Some of my new favorites...
- Fallen by Lauren Kate
- The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater
What are your favorite re-reads???
I'd read my favorite book over and over and over!

I definitely agree with your answer. My favorite reread of all time is the Harry Potter series. Each time I open up those books again I find something new or a detail I forgot, so its like reading it for the first time again. Those books can never lose their magic.

Hi! New follower.
ReplyDeleteI choose the other way as it said favourite (sg) not favourites (pl) and I'd hate to be stuck reading one book over and over. If it'd been favourites (pl) than I might have picked that option. Then again, I don't tend to reread books that often anyway, at least not unless they're audiobooks. I couldn't tell you how many times I've listened to the audios of the Just William books, Dracula, Three Men in a Boat or Treasure Island! I grew up on them and would listen to them every night!!
You can find my FF here.
Have a great weekend!

ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend,

I've never really re-read a book. I feel like that magic of a first read will be tarnished... though there are a few that I've give a second read if I really wanted to!!

Speaking of re-reading -- are you reading The Hunger Games for the first time, because that is probably a book I could read over and over again. XO - Parajunkee
ReplyDeleteHappy Follow-Friday! :)
ReplyDeleteI find that with my all-time favorite books, I fall in love over-and-over again. Therefore I rather stick to my favorites instead of being disappointed multiple times.
